TRON LEGACY :: Showroom

Created for Disney Consumer Products, the Tron Legacy Showroom was the promotional hub for all the high-end, high-fashion couture clothing, electronics, toys and jewelry created for the movie. The space was specifically inspired by Flynn’s safe house so that every detail of the black product would sizzle.

Macrocosm Studio was responsible for the concept, design, production and installation of the entire room as well as the custom creation of the curved walls, chandelier and illuminated Queen Ann table in the center of the room.

BEHIND THE SCENES :: Imagi Booth Concept

IMAGI STUDIOS :: Anime Expo 2008

Not only did we start this project with a single piece of black and white concept art, we were also challenged by a small booth at Anime Expo and an even smaller booth at Comicon – but the real trick was how we could build something that would work for both… with less than a three week head’s up. Well, once we convinced them to create the iconic Astro Boy Sculpture as a centerpiece, the booth built it’s self and stayed on Budget. Oh… and it was a BIG HIT too!

20th CENTURY FOX :: Licensing Show Summit

20th Century Fox Consumer Products challenged us to create a dynamic set for their 2011 Licensing Show Summit that could be flexible enough to showcase their most cutting edge brands like Sons of Anarchy and the Simpsons, but could also scale back to classics like Ice Age and the Chipmunks. Macrocosm was responsible for the design, installation, stage management, audio visual and lighting vendors, as well as executive rehearsals.

Also brought on board to help manage all internal and external details that go into putting on a show this large! From organizing meeting agendas to sizzle videos, booth graphics, and everything to do with a show-stopping summit, Macrocosm Studio was there to support this amazing team and cutting EDGE properties.

20th CENTURY FOX :: Consumer Products Licensing Show

Brought on board to help boost the creative push of the booth while simultaneously wrangling the internal details that go into putting on a show this large! Working from within the office of 20th Century Fox with all the contributing teams while also working outside the office with the Booth builder and additional content delivery vendors to make sure everything stayed on track. From meeting agenda’s to sizzle videos, booth graphics and everything to do with a show-stopping Summit, Macrocosm Studio was there to support this amazing team and their cutting EDGE properties.

DISNEY INTERNET GROUP :: Web 2.0 Show

Concepts, Design and Production with installation and strike support for these two shows for our friends on the web side of Disney.

IMAGI STUDIOS :: Comicon

Further continuing our relationship with this fantastic film studio, Macrocosm Studio designed an all-new booth that would be interchangeable, re-usable and re-configurable for all three of their tradeshows for 2009. Our all inclusive design, production and management of the 3 installation’s and de-installations was produced for a single budget of under $250K.

IMAGI STUDIOS :: Licensing Show 2009

In 2009 Imagi came prepared with a new challenge. They needed a bigger, new booth that they could take to Anime Expo, Licensing Show and Comicon. The new booth needed to be lightweight, modular to accommodate different booth spaces, have interchangeable graphics and the overall budget needed to include everything from the design, build, transportation, installation and strike from all three shows as well as storage for an entire year. How did we do? Ever seen an EVP bow down and worship their booth? Neither had we… it was almost embarrassing!

IMAGI STUDIOS :: Comicon 2008

What do you do when you have a single piece of art and could only squeeze a 10’x10’ space out of the Comicon floor? Well, we started by creating a full-size suspended multi-media custom sculpture of Astro Boy – before his “real boy” paint job of course. Booth design and custom sculpture concepted, created and installed at Anime Expo in less than 3 weeks. The Comicon booth was small, but packed with media, Astro Boy hair-make-over’s and huge IMAGI give-away bags that stormed the show!

DISNEY INTERACTIVE :: Siggraph

Consulted with Disney Interactive and worked with their tradeshow builder to design and develop their new look for Siggraph 2007. The concept leaned on the great history of Disney and melded it with new technology.

MATTEL :: Uno 40th Anniversary Rose Parade Float

Worked with an agency for Mattel to develop the initial concepts for the rose parade float celebrating UNO’s 40th anniversary. Worked with various float builders to develop concepts, cost projections and build strategies for presentation to Mattel.
